Case Studies

We work closely with Kent County Council to support disadvantaged children in the South East, but we also offer support and guidance in riding technique and instruction to all the children who use our stables. We are always touched to be in receipt of their thanks.

Team Tutsham recently supported a special day of activity at Five Acre Wood School, Maidstone - a school for children and young people with Profound, Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
A letter of thanks from one of our Saddle Club members, Georgia wrote this to read out at our annual Summer Ball 2014 and it was very moving for Maxine and Mark to hear.

Case Study - Khy, age 16

Khy came to us in 2013. He is a looked after child who was scared of horses before he came to Team Tutsham and had very little riding experience. He has grown in confidence and is now a competent rider.

Following on from his time with us he has just been offered a place at Hadlow College starting in September 2014 where he is doing a full time level 2 Diploma in Horse Management. It includes riding ability and a general look at all aspects of the horse industry including; anatomy of horse, different feeds, caring for a horse.
We are extremely proud of Khy and look forward to seeing him continue to progress and develop during his studies.
